Photography is definitely one of the most popular programs searched for, from those searching for fun courses and a new hobby, to others planning to jump start a career behind the camera.
This creative medium has really changed in the last few years as taking photos has become easier with the introduction of the digital camera. This month, we’ve made a decision to investigate the possibilities in photography and the sorts of courses and lessons you may take to help you make the most of your memories.
Photographer, Richard Gray is definitely open to these opportunities. He runs a course at Kensington and Chelsea College that focuses exclusively on taking photos with the Apple iPhone.
Richard is passionate about this art form titled “iPhoneography” because it does not require a huge expense and just about anyone can get involved using the digital camera on their mobile phone.
He says: “No longer do you require costly or complex equipment to produce excellent photos. The iphone camera and the huge selection of apps available for it are giving thousands of people, without any previous experience of photography, a fantastic new outlet to share stunning creativity.”
Clare Trotter is a graduate who took photography at undergraduate level and she agrees: “It is not significant any more to have an expensive camera, one of my favorite cameras require me to pay 19 and the lens is made of plastic! I think photography is something anybody can take up, especially now with all the dslr cameras and technology available.”
Though this suggests that low-budget photography has changed the art form, camera fans still flock to the shops with each and every new release of DSLR camera. Meaning Digital Single Lens Reflex, these digital cameras are a favorite with the professionals.
In comparison with standard cameras, they have much more options to choose from when taking photos, therefore you may get truly high quality shots. Of course this means their operation isn’t always simple and easy for the regular photographer. There are programs out there to help though – The Mango Lab offers tuition focused on DSLR photography for those that want to use the camera to its complete potential.
If you cannot extend the budget to a Digital SLR, there is the in between option of the compact camera. We no longer need to ration film as we can fit thousands of pictures on a small memory card, and the issue of fingers over the lens could be averted now we’ve a handy screen to show us what our photo will look like.
There are camera tutorials to show you steps to make the most of these cameras too, as well as useful blogs like Learn Digital Photography Now, which will give suggestions. Plus with a large amount of Photoshop training, you can also edit them like an expert.
With a lot of possibilities for taking and sharing pictures now, camera classes and other photography lessons have turned into a popular hobby to try and also creating a viable way of earning money on completion. Whether you wish to do it for fun or as a career, we’ve got a lot of courses to get you started.
